Navionics® Boating App Reviews

Any Marine Based GPS app should allow to easily add waypoints based on gps coordinates. After several trips and a few house I give up. ****note to developer••••• Add a shortcut "Add Waypoint" and put it the Menu!

Bad experience all around.

SonarCharts is really good, and "Navionics" is a cool name, but the rest is way below average compared to other nav apps.

This applications is incompatible with with iOS 5.1.1 the latest version available for my current (iPad 1). A notice on the applications would have been useful. It wasted about 20 minutes down loading and trying twice to load it on my iPad.

This is a great app. Love it. It was very good before you put cruise up. But now its just that much better. Thanks for the cruise up

I bought an older version of this app and now it is no longer supported on newer devices. I was unable to update to a newer version without re-paying.

For the price this is a great app and well worth the 10 bucks. Only downside is it drains your battery pretty quick so make sure you have a way to charge your phone.

I use this for ice fishing. Wow. I can see all the contour lines to key in locations that would be ideal for fish. 10/10.

When This app first came out, the detail was great. Now it is MIA. Worthless as far as Im concerned.

Excellent app for boating with GPS at an incredible low price compared to what the cost could be with units that give the same information!

I saw this comment before but purchased anyway. Very cool app and provides the lake map details I was looking, But.... It really drain the battery like no app Ive ever used before even when not using. I had to disable all the apps access to background process. Developer please fix this bug and or provide options to turn off

payed for old version, and now I have to buy the upgrade for it to work on upgraded iOS8????

This app is amazing and accurate. We took a night cruise on the Mississippi River, all the channel markers and depths were right on. Easy to use.

Could not find any fishing info

I bought the Lakes East Navionics and liked it. Then it was revised and slowed down to the point I couldnt use it while running. I tried to find out how to use it again and was told by Navionics a it is not supported and I could download the new APP free. I did so and found out to get detailed lake maps you have to buy it. Im ok with that but then it is only good for one year. What happens then? I dont trust Navionics and will not purchase from them for an APP. I have an iPhone 5S.

It freakin works. And its surprisingly fast on 3G. No more bumping the bottom of the shallow river at low tide !!!! Excellent track recording ( and planning) feature as well. love it love it love it

Navionics works great in the Puget Sound. I have been using the free "govt" chart option. Very helpful. Wish I had the app earlier, it would have saved me from having to buy a prop.

Why set a depth if it routes on land and water? Straight line between two points on a lake, really? No better than a paper map. Waste of time.

App is sick! Turn by turn directions... And sweet tracking.., records the exact route you took, the speed you were going etc.. Love it.. And CHEAP.!
